Crane’s Chicago Wedding Photography

Chicago Wedding Photographer

My name is Rado Doney, though most of my clients know me as Randy, and I’m a Chicago wedding photographer. A lover of natural light and the magic that is romance, my goal is to capture real moments and raw emotion in an organic way.

My core philosophy is simple: every couple and family I have the opportunity to photograph is one-of-a-kind and their pictures should reflect that. I accomplish this by taking a creative, documentary-style approach to photography. I also take the time to get to know my subjects, enabling me to ensure the finished product is equally unique.

Since entering the industry in 2007, I have photographed more than 300 weddings in the US and abroad. I apply my philosophy to every wedding I photograph, and the end result is a series of stunning, natural photographs depicting the deep sentiment my couples and their families share.

I am renowned for my breathtaking portraits, exquisite detail images and dynamic reception shots. When you choose Crane’s Photography, you can feel confident that you’re choosing one of Chicago’s best wedding photographers.

Serving the Greater Chicago and Milwaukee Areas

Wedding photography in Chicago is spectacular! I have shot weddings in many incredible cities, including New York City, Washington, D.C., Cancun, Los Angeles and Vail, but there is no other city in the world where a photographer can photograph a bride and groom in nine to ten places in less than three hours between the ceremony and reception!

I recently photographed a wedding, for example, starting at the Belden Stratford Hotel. I then captured the ceremony at St. Clements Catholic Church, followed by pictures at Wrigley Field, the Lincoln Park Conservatory, the Lincoln Park Zoo, Café Brauer, The Chicago Water Tower, Hancock Building, Wrigley Building, Chicago River, Navy Pier, Millennium Park, The Art Institute, Planetarium Point and finally at Notebaert Nature Museum. All in three hours!

I cover all of Chicago and Wisconsin, and occasionally travel to Michigan and Indiana, as well. The areas I serve include, but aren’t limited to: Arlington Heights, Aurora, Bolingbrook, Cicero, Des Plaines, Elgin, Evanston, Gary, Hammond, Joliet, Kenosha, Naperville, Orland Park, Palatine, Schaumburg, Skokie, Tinley Park, Waukegan, Washington County, Ozaukee County, Waukesha County, Milwaukee County, Mequon, Brookfield, the North Shore, Fox Point, Whitefish Bay, River Hills, Shorewood, Glendale, Bayside, West Milwaukee, West Allis, St. Francis and Madison.

Multicultural Wedding Photography

As I mentioned, every couple is unique and one-of-a-kind. Multicultural weddings that blend different aspects of a couple’s faith or cultural backgrounds are a wonderful way to personalize their big day. That being said, photographing them requires an extra level of artistry and skill that I take great pride in having mastered.

I have photographed Indian weddings, Christian weddings, Chinese tea ceremonies and dozens of other cultural or interracial events and understand how to harness lighting, capture fine detail and react quickly to unplanned changes to always capture the best images. Chicago is the perfect backdrop for multicultural weddings!
