WHAT IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?

Wedding photography will never be defined with just one style. We offer a mixture of styles that uniquely tells the story of your special day. And since it is your day, we want to make certain the vision you have for your photographs come to life. Therefore, we work closely together to create the perfect blend of photography that is filled with plenty of charm and personality. Whether your moment is romantic, candid or formal, our goal is to illustrate all the true actions and real emotions of your day as they naturally occur.

WE'D LIKE TO SECURE YOU FOR OUR WEDDING. HOW DO WE PROCEED?

Please feel free to reach us by filling out the form on our contact page. When we receive your wedding information, we’ll be able to check our availability and set up a meeting, which will give us the opportunity to get to know one another better. When an agreement has been reached, in order to finalize our deal, we kindly ask that you sign a contract and pay a required 30% deposit, which will safely secure your date on our calendar.

HOW DO WE PAY?

We need to receive 30% of your total and a signed contract to secure your date. Second payment of 50% is normally scheduled at the mid-point between now and the wedding and the last payment of 20% is due a month before. Money order, check or any major credit card will be accepted.

WHO WILL PHOTOGRAPH OUR WEDDING?

Unless otherwise agreed, our lead photographer Randy will be honored to document your extraordinary affair. We will always have two photographers at your wedding and your lead shooter will be named on the contract.

WHAT TYPE OF EQUIPMENT WILL YOU BE USING AT OUR WEDDING?

We go out of our way to make sure you receive the best service possible. That is why we use Canon’s top of the line cameras paired with “L” series lenses in order to achieve unparalleled quality. To make certain your day goes off without a hitch, we bring along superior backup equipment so we can avoid those unwanted snags.

DIGITAL vs. FILM

We prefer to use digital photography simply because it enables us to take an unlimited amount of pictures at a moment’s notice.

WHY IS IT NECESSARY TO HAVE AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION?

An engagement session is a wonderful way for us to get to know one another, while, at the same time, offering you a sneak peek of the work we produce. These sessions allow us to learn all about you as a couple.  From there, we’ll be able to have a greater understanding of your personalities as well as your likes and dislikes. We’ll also make you feel comfortable in front of the camera, so much so that you’ll be feeling like an old pro by the time your wedding approaches.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK?

We would be honored and privileged to be a part of your big day. Therefore, once you decide to use our services, we suggest you to promptly contact us to reserve your date. Our availability is limited and some popular dates are getting booked 12-18 months in advance.

WHEN WILL OUR IMAGES BE AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING?

We strive to give you the highest quality photos possible. Therefore, it usually takes us 4-6 weeks to process and edit all of your images and post them online in your personal photo gallery.

WHAT IS AN ONLINE CLIENT GALLERY?

A client gallery is a private webpage that beautifully features all of your wedding day photos.  You will be able to relive and share all of your precious memories with friends and family, while having the opportunity to purchase prints and canvases of your big day. Your specialized gallery will remain online for 6 months.

HOW MANY WEDDING IMAGES WILL WE RECEIVE?

Since every wedding is distinctly different, this number can vary.  However, typically, most couples will receive 900 to 1,200 edited images.

WHEN DO WE GET OUR DIGITAL FILES?

We will provide you with a flash drive containing all of your high resolution images free of watermarks or logos with your finished album.

ONCE WE SIGN THE CONTRACT, CAN WE KEEP IN TOUCH WITH YOU?

We encourage and welcome you to contact us at any time if you have any questions, concerns or suggestions about your wedding. About a month before your event, we would very much like to have a cup of coffee with you to finalize our plans and make certain your day is not only stress-free, but picture perfect as well.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS DURING OUR OUTDOOR WEDDING?

Even though rain is considered good luck on a wedding day, you certainly don’t want it to rain on your parade.  Since Mother Nature has a mind of its own, we embrace the situation by finding the perfect indoor locations to beautifully complement your wedding’s theme and personality.  If your heart is still set on taking pictures outside, never fear, we’ll happily make your dreams come true.  In fact, the romance and playfulness of the rain can create a superb backdrop for some of the most stunning, imaginative photos around.

WE DON'T LIVE IN YOUR AREA. CAN WE SET UP A MEETING ONLINE?

Absolutely! We understand the time constraints that come with planning a wedding. At your convenience, we can meet “face-to-face” via Skype.

HOW LONG DO YOU KEEP OUR DATE AFTER OUR MEETING?

We understand it takes time to find the perfect photographer who will accommodate all of your wants and needs. That is why we encourage you to shop around and compare our photography styles and prices to our competitors’ line of work. We are genuinely confident our true-to-life photos and personalized service will make you feel like we truly are a match made in heaven!

DO YOU CHARGE AN EXTRA FEE TO TRAVEL?

We do not charge travel fees for distances of 100 miles or less of Chicago.   We always enjoy an adventure or two. Therefore, we frequently cover weddings all across Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana.  Destination weddings are also welcomed.  To inquire about travel fees outside of the Chicagoland area, please fill out the form on our contact page.

MY FLORIST WANTS TO BRING A PHOTOGRAPHER WITH HER TO SHOOT DETAILS. WILL THAT BE OK?

Outside photographers are not necessary, since we make certain to document all of your details, big and small. From there, we will kindly share these snapshots with your other vendors.
